Pork Belly with Gochujang
By @dreamcaketestkitchen
Ingredients
Use your cutlery spoon instead of measuring spoon! Korean style..
- 1lb pork belly, thinly sliced
- 1/2 yellow onion, sliced
- 1/4-1/3 cabbage, sliced
- Green onion for garnish
- 1 spoon Potluck Gochujang
- 2 spoon Gochugaru (korean pepper flakes)
- 3/4 spoon sugar
- 1 spoon minced garlic
- 2.5 spoon soy sauce
- Drizzle of sesame oil to finish
Directions
1. Mix all the ingredients for the sauce except sesame oil, put it aside.
2. In a pan, cook your pork belly first. Since we are using thin ones, they cook very quickly! If you don't have access to thin pork belly, just slice as thin as possible.
3. Mix the sauce in the pan!
4. Add the onion and cabbage and mix more. They don't have to cook fully, we want them to cook a little bit and still have the crunch to them.
5. Add a drizzle of sesame oil to finish and mix everything together.
6. Serve on top of rice as a bowl with green onion or as a main dish! Enjoy x
